Enterprises Are Not Building AI Advantage. They Are Leasing It.

Enterprises own the interface but rent the intelligence, so their AI edge is thinner than it appears.
In this TechRadar Pro perspective, InstaLILY CEO Amit Shah argues most enterprises only think they are building an AI advantage - in reality they are leasing one.
Typical systems share the same pattern: a custom application layer and proprietary workflows, but rented, general-purpose intelligence from the same external model providers everyone else uses. If your capability rests on that shared intelligence, your moat is thinner than it looks because the provider owns the intelligence.
Real advantage, Shah contends, comes not from access to AI but from whether your AI learns from your business and outperforms general-purpose systems on your specific workflows.
