Google Cloud launches Cloud Run sandboxes in public preview to safely run AI-generated code.
Google Cloud announced that Cloud Run sandboxes are now in public preview, enabling secure, isolated execution of dynamically or AI-generated code within Cloud Run service instances.
The capability lets developers run untrusted or model-produced code without risking the host environment.
It targets agentic and AI application scenarios where code is generated at runtime and must be executed safely. Google positions sandboxes as key infrastructure for building trustworthy AI-driven applications.
