Supermicro introduced new Edge AI appliances delivered as a validated full-stack Kubernetes solution powered by Red Hat OpenShift and Portworx by Everpure.
The turnkey appliances ship with preloaded software and hardware, enabling enterprises to run AI inference, containers, and virtual machines at edge locations with enterprise-grade data services.
Portworx provides a software-defined, self-healing storage and data-management layer that operates autonomously even during network outages. The solution aims to simplify edge AI deployment without dedicated array-based storage at each site.
