KnowBe4 released its 2026 Phishing by Industry Benchmarking Report, analyzing millions of simulated phishing tests across organizations worldwide.
The report finds about one in three employees engage with phishing before training, with healthcare most vulnerable, but sustained security awareness training cuts susceptibility by roughly 79% over 12 months, down to about 4.2%.
It also warns that generative AI is lowering the cost and raising the sophistication of phishing attacks, making continuous, adaptive training essential.
