RSA says RSA ID Plus delivers passwordless authentication across cloud, desktop and data center, including air-gapped and sovereign deployments.
RSA argues most passwordless products cover cloud apps and managed Windows laptops but leave data center servers, air-gapped facilities, clean rooms and help desks on passwords, creating openings for attackers.
It says it extended coverage over the past year and added defenses against threats beyond phishing, with RSA ID Plus for Sovereign Deployment for organizations that cannot use SaaS.
The FIDO Alliance shared a case study of RSA virtually eliminating passwords for its own staff.
