Introducing Cortex Cloud SaaS Security: Secure the Entire Attack Surface Across SaaS and Cloud

Palo Alto Networks, Wednesday, October 28th, 2026

Palo Alto Networks introduces Cortex Cloud SaaS Security to give unified protection and visibility across SaaS applications and cloud environments.

The company says SaaS apps and cloud infrastructure are connected through shared identities, integrations and data, and AI agents deepen these links, so one misconfiguration or overprivileged identity can create wide exposure.

It cites the 2026 Unit 42 Global Incident Response Report finding that 87% of attacks spanned multiple attack surfaces, and projects that 75% of enterprises will have autonomous AI agents in production by 2028.

Cortex Cloud SaaS Security extends Cortex Cloud to show how risks connect across SaaS and cloud and where attackers could move next.
