Quick Now Supports Smart Approvals for Agentic Actions

AWS, Wednesday, October 28th, 2026

Amazon Quick adds smart approvals, cutting routine approval prompts while sending higher-impact agent actions to users for review.

Amazon Quick smart approvals reduce approval fatigue as agents take actions like sending email, updating records and creating tickets.

A separate review layer only considers actions set to ask each time, never grants new access, and keeps denied actions denied.

Higher-impact actions, such as sending content outside the organization, changing permissions, deleting content or making payments, still go to the user.

It is on by default; administrators control who can use it, users can turn it off for chats and scheduled runs, and CloudTrail records each review and setting change.
