Dell Expands Cyber Recovery Tools to Protect Identity

Dell extends its PowerProtect cyber recovery portfolio to identity platforms such as Active Directory, Entra ID and Okta.
Dell is extending PowerProtect cyber recovery to identity systems including Active Directory, Entra ID and Okta, arguing that restoring data is not enough if access systems are compromised.
It is also adding identity threat detection and response to its managed detection and response service, offering PowerProtect within the Dell AI Factory, and extending snapshot orchestration to PowerScale with replication to ObjectScale.
Dell executives Rob Emsley and Adam Miller stressed building in resilience early and testing recovery.
