Oracle Unveils New Cloud Networking Innovations for AI

Oracle, Tuesday, October 27th, 2026

Oracle adds Acceleron networking capabilities to OCI to speed AI data movement and keep distributed AI workloads resilient.

At Oracle AI World, Oracle announced new capabilities in Oracle Acceleron, OCI's suite of networking and infrastructure technologies for demanding AI workloads.

The Acceleron High-Performance Fabric brings RDMA connectivity to OCI front-end compute for inference, storage and HPC workloads, and expanded NVMe block storage attachment options improve performance up to 3x.

The Oracle Collective Communications Library spreads collective traffic across OCI's backend Multiplanar Network and helps workloads recover when links, ports or NICs fail.

Transparent front-end multiplanar networking adds path selection, failover and congestion control for front-end RDMA traffic.
