SentinelOne's weekly roundup reports that a US court sentenced Nigerian national Chukwuemeka Victor Amachukwu to eight years for spearphishing tax preparation firms.
He and his co-conspirators stole the data of at least 800 clients and more than $3.3 million through fraudulent tax and loan filings.
The roundup also covers INTERPOL's Operation Serengeti III with 21 countries.
That operation led to 1,462 arrests and dismantled 10,909 malicious infrastructures across Africa.
