As AI Is Reshaping the Data Center, Security Has to Keep Up

Check Point, Wednesday, October 21st, 2026

Check Point argues AI workloads, GPUs and agents in the data center require security beyond the traditional perimeter.

Check Point says the data center was long treated as a controlled zone where access could be managed and traffic followed predictable paths.

AI training and inference, private models, GPU infrastructure, containers, APIs and autonomous agents are now joining core applications there.

Citing its 2026 Cloud Security Report, Check Point says 29% of organizations are already moving AI workloads to on-premises or private environments.

It argues data center security must evolve to keep up.
