At OCP, Intel shows Xeon 6+ rack designs topping 46,000 cores per rack and details its GPU D-series inference card.
At the OCP Global Summit, Intel showcased Xeon-based rack designs built with partners, many using the Open Rack v3 standard, with select Xeon 6+ configurations scaling beyond 46,000 cores per rack at 133.45 kW.
Intel also detailed GPU D-series, an air-cooled PCIe inference card supporting up to 300 billion parameters per card and over one trillion in an eight-GPU system, now sampling to customers.
Intel highlighted its contribution to the OCP Open Adapter Card workgroup.
