Cisco adds proactive AI agents to Webex, launches RoomOS 27 and workplace analytics, and adds native Google Meet support on its devices.
Cisco introduced AI-driven collaboration tools that move Webex from prompt-based assistants to proactive digital teammates, which can be invited into meetings and chats via @mentions to run multi-step workflows.
The launch adds a digital chief of staff, unified governance controls and an Intelligent Workplace Experiences framework, managed through Cisco Cloud Control, with Workplace Designer, room-level metrics and occupancy insights.
RoomOS 27 arrives in November with a 32-language AI assistant, and a new partnership brings Google Meet natively to Cisco devices.
