Veeam Data Platform 13.1 lets file, object and NAS backup jobs target Amazon S3 Glacier and Azure Archive directly.
Veeam Data Platform 13.1 extends direct cold-storage backup, introduced for VM-based GFS backups in Veeam Backup & Replication 12.2, to unstructured data.
Amazon S3 Glacier and Azure Archive Storage can now be direct targets for file, object and NAS backup jobs, which previously had to stage through S3 Standard or a scale-out repository with a Capacity Tier.
