Snowflake introduced Snowflake Decision, a decision model in private preview available through AI_COMPLETE in Cortex AI Functions.
It targets simple, high-volume tasks such as classification, scoring, filtering and routing, returning a typed answer like a category, score or yes/no probability with less cost and latency than general-purpose LLMs.
Because it runs inside Cortex AI Functions, existing governance, access controls and audit policies apply to every decision, and the post uses support ticket routing as an example.
