SentinelOne marks five years of ThreatOps, its gamified threat-hunting program that has trained more than 19,000 defenders.
SentinelOne traces ThreatOps from a 2020 threat-hunting webinar idea, in which players searched Deep Visibility telemetry for hidden flags, to a gamified capture-the-flag platform that has trained more than 19,000 blue teamers.
The program became an official initiative in the FY21 budget, and SentinelOne says it influenced more than $661 million in closed-won revenue between September 2023 and September 2026.
ThreatOps also spawned the Sentinels League Threat Hunting World Championship, whose grand final takes place at OneCon 2026 in Las Vegas on October 20-22.
