HPE, Wednesday, October 7th, 2026

HPE announced four ProLiant Gen13 servers powered by 6th Gen AMD EPYC CPUs for agentic AI, inference and other demanding workloads.

HPE announced its first four ProLiant Gen13 Servers powered by 6th Generation AMD EPYC processors, targeting agentic AI, inference, analytics, virtualization, simulation and modeling.

The ProLiant DL525 and DL585a Gen13 offer higher core density, memory bandwidth and I/O, while the XD245 and XD285, built on Open Compute Project standards, add rack density with more efficient power and cooling.

HPE also highlights iLO 8 automatic protection features and cites a McKinsey survey in which nearly two-thirds named security and risk as the top barrier to scaling agentic AI.
