TrueNAS is the first platform certified under Veeam's All-In-One (Virtualized) Ready Appliance category.
TrueNAS says it is the first storage platform certified in Veeam's newest Ready Appliance category, All-In-One (Virtualized), and as of September 18, 2026 the only two listed systems are TrueNAS.
Instead of acting only as a repository behind a separate Veeam server, TrueNAS Enterprise hardware runs the hardened Veeam Software Appliance as a VM under its Data Hypervisor, with the VSA's boot disk and repository on OpenZFS zvols with self-healing checksums.
The result is backup server and storage certified together on one cyber-resilient, immutable appliance.
