MongoDB launched Atlas Agent Engine at its Investor Day in New York as a unified execution, memory and governance layer for production AI agents.
The company says moving agents from proof of concept to production requires accurate retrieval, persistent memory and enterprise-grade security, which otherwise means stitching together tools that break as models and frameworks change.
Atlas Agent Engine is available now in public preview, and Paysafe is cited as planning an agent to speed investigation of unusual payment network activity.
