AMD Sampling Versal AI Core Adaptive SoC in Enhanced Space-Grade Package for the Most Demanding Missions

AMD, Thursday, October 1st, 2026

AMD is sampling the Versal AI Core XQRVC1902 in a new space-grade package built for missions lasting up to 15 years.

AMD began sampling the Versal AI Core XQRVC1902 adaptive SoC in an enhanced space-grade organic lidless package to early access customers.

The package is designed for space missions lasting up to 15 years, and AMD is testing the device to MIL-PRF-38535 Class Y, the highest qualification level for spaceflight components.

Conservative design rules, an enhanced substrate and flight-proven capacitors target human-rated, long-duration and deep space missions such as geosynchronous, cislunar and heliocentric orbits.
