memQ open-sourced xDQC, a compiler that lets quantum applications run across multiple QPUs instead of just one.
memQ released xDQC, an open-source compiler built on NVIDIA's CUDA-Q platform that allows quantum applications to run across multiple Quantum Processing Units simultaneously.
Unlike traditional compilers that target a single processor, xDQC automatically partitions circuits and manages inter-processor communication, handling qubit allocation, operation scheduling, and entanglement resource coordination across distributed systems.
It has been demonstrated on eight interconnected QPUs running circuits with hundreds of qubits, and is designed as an extensible framework adaptable to different quantum hardware.
The open-source release aims to let researchers explore larger quantum workloads while integrating classical GPU processing for hybrid quantum-classical operations.
