AI Agent Observability Coming to Observe by Snowflake

Snowflake is adding Agent Observability to Observe to help teams trace AI agent quality, cost and performance.
AI agents complicate observability because a request can complete without error yet still retrieve wrong information or run up unnecessary cost across multistep workflows.
Agent Observability, coming soon to private preview in Observe by Snowflake, will trace how agent interactions unfold and connect behavior to cost and quality metrics. It aims to give teams the instrumentation, metrics and tooling to debug agent behavior, isolate performance issues and identify what drives AI spend.
Teams can instrument agents with an OpenTelemetry-compliant SDK that supports LangChain, the Anthropic Agents SDK and the OpenAI Agents SDK, then correlate results with business data already in Snowflake.
