Google Cloud's weekly blog roundup highlights three items: an upcoming October 1 webinar on using Apigee to govern Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool authorization, covering fine-grained authorization, audit trails, and the OpenID AuthZEN standard for chained agent actions like CRM edits; a new tutorial on capturing and analyzing Apigee proxy debug traces in Apigee X, Hybrid, or the local emulator using the open source Apigee Trace Viewer; and a tutorial on using the Apigee Local Emulator to run automated proxy tests locally and integrate them into CI pipelines to catch errors earlier.
