The Genie One MCP Is Now Generally Available

Databricks made the Genie One MCP server generally available to all customers, now managed within Unity Gateway.
Databricks announced general availability of the Genie One MCP server, giving any agent a single interface to retrieve structured and unstructured data, insights, and answers from Genie One grounded in governed business context from Genie Ontology.
The MCP now lives within Unity Gateway as a managed service, providing centralized governance, fine-grained policies, and audit logging across every invocation.
It exposes tools for asking questions, retrieving query results, checking incremental progress, and steering responses, and a companion app lets supported agent clients embed Genie One's process with interactive visualizations and citations in real time.
