OpenAI's GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna models are now generally available on Amazon Bedrock with up to 1M tokens of context.
AWS announced general availability of OpenAI's GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna models on Amazon Bedrock, expanding the GPT-6 family alongside Astra.
Sol targets recurring complex tasks and software development, reportedly making roughly half as many factuality mistakes as GPT-5.6 Sol on an internal OpenAI evaluation, and can implement features, debug, review code, and complete multistep workflows.
Luna is a more efficient model for high-volume tasks like summarization, extraction, classification, and routing, with adjustable reasoning effort. Both support up to 1M tokens of context and are accessible via the Bedrock console or APIs.
