Salesforce unveiled an Enterprise AI Harness built from six capabilities: Trusted Context, Trusted Agency, Trusted Action, Trusted Governance, Trusted Security and Trusted Models.
The harness concept describes the control layer between a model and an enterprise process, which is genuinely where most deployments succeed or fail.
Every major applications vendor is now competing to define this layer, so the useful buyer exercise is comparing what each harness actually enforces at runtime against what it merely documents. The governance and agency components are where that difference shows.
