Insights-Client Updates Standardize RHEL Package Management

Red Hat, Thursday, September 10th, 2026

From RHEL 9.8 and 10.2, insights-core moves from runtime updates to RPM delivery for predictable change control.

Beginning with RHEL 9.8 and RHEL 10.2, Red Hat is moving insights-core delivery from runtime self-updates to RPM Package Manager.
