Huntress introduced AI SIEM search, allowing plain English queries against SIEM data without requiring knowledge of a query language.
The barrier this removes is real: SIEM platforms hold the data needed to answer an investigative question, but formulating the query demands syntax expertise that responders under time pressure frequently lack, so questions go unasked.
The caveat for any natural language query interface is that a plausible-looking result derived from a subtly wrong query is harder to catch than an outright error, so verification habits matter.
