A plugin built to the open Agent Plugins spec gives coding agents authentication, project admin and CLI guardrails.
Google Cloud released a developer plugin giving AI coding agents structured access to Google Cloud infrastructure, built to the open Agent Plugins specification so it works consistently across agent environments.
The google-cloud-developer plugin bundles authentication, authorization, project administration and guardrails for command-line operations, and integrates the Developer Knowledge MCP server so agents work from current official documentation.
Installation differs by client, with Antigravity CLI installing directly from GitHub while Claude Code and Codex CLI add the Google marketplace first.
