Proofpoint launches a SOC Analyst Agent built on OpenAI's Daybreak cyber models for natural-language threat investigation.
Proofpoint announced the SOC Analyst Agent, an AI capability that brings OpenAI's Daybreak GPT cyber models into security operations workflows.
Analysts can investigate threats using natural language questions across connected Proofpoint data sources including alerts, logs and user risk signals.
The agent is designed to accelerate investigations and automate recurring analysis work while keeping human analysts in control of consequential decisions. It is in private preview, with general availability expected by the end of Q3 2026.
