Google DeepMind released WeatherNext 3, its most advanced global weather AI forecasting model.
The new version incorporates real-time satellite data, refreshes hourly, runs at higher resolution and adds more precise precipitation forecasting.
It also introduces clean energy variables, relevant to grid and renewable generation planning. WeatherNext 3 is integrated across Search, Gemini, Maps, Google Maps Platform and Google Cloud, making it available to developers as well as consumers.
