Two Nokia engineers used Cursor to analyze over 50 million lines of code in two weeks, work that previously needed a dozen experts and months.
Cursor details how Nokia's Core Networks division is redesigning its software development lifecycle around AI agents. In one project, two engineers analyzed more than 50 million lines of code in two weeks, work Nokia estimates would have taken a dozen or more experts several months with custom tooling. The division, which builds cloud-native network functions for 5G voice and data in a highly regulated environment, also compressed a multi-month manual workflow into an automated tool built in a week and cut root cause analysis on customer-impacting defects from weeks to days. Nokia is applying Cursor across PRD and design work, code analysis, internal tooling and diagnosis from historical service requests, and is restructuring its SDLC around specialized agents.
