Enterprises adopting Databricks for sensitive data commonly rely on Inbound Private Link to keep user-to-Databricks traffic off the public internet, routing it privately through their own cloud network.
As customers scale to many workspaces, multiple regions and account-level products, the previous workspace-scoped coverage left gaps. The extension brings those account-level surfaces under the same private routing. The change removes a reason customers had to expose parts of the platform publicly.
