The biggest shift reflects the rise of agentic systems that access enterprise data, invoke tools and execute workflows rather than only generating text.
Two risks rise in prominence: LLM03 Excessive Agency, covering AI systems granted too much functionality, and LLM08 Hidden Context Exposure, which broadens system-prompt leakage to include tool schemas, permissions and workflow logic.
Akamai argues attackers increasingly perform reconnaissance to map an application before attacking. The company says reconnaissance detection is coming to its Firewall for AI product.
