Bitdefender expands its European Sovereign Acceleration Program to include MDR services fully operated within EU boundaries.
Bitdefender announced the addition of managed detection and response (MDR) services to its Sovereign Acceleration Program, ensuring all customer data, security events, and operations remain entirely within the EU.
The services are delivered through a security operations center in Romania using the GravityZone platform, combining automated detection with expert analyst monitoring for 24x7x365 protection.
According to a survey, 76% of cybersecurity managers would switch vendors due to data sovereignty concerns, and Bitdefender's offering addresses regulatory demands from GDPR, NIS2, and DORA. The program includes a contract buyout initiative to help organizations migrate from competing solutions.
