KnowBe4 adds simulated vishing to its platform so organizations can train employees against AI-powered voice phishing calls.
KnowBe4 has launched an advanced simulated vishing capability aimed at what it calls the fastest-growing gap in security awareness training: phone-based social engineering.
The company cites reporting that vishing activity surged 442% in 2024, making voice phishing one of the top initial infection vectors. The new capability extends training beyond email with realistic, customizable voice scenarios that use local caller ID and believable personas.
Chief Product Officer Greg Kras noted that attackers now use AI voice cloning to make calls highly convincing, so employees need practice against realistic tactics. Vishing results feed into KnowBe4's existing reporting for unified visibility into human risk across channels.
