AI as a Product Feature (Aug. 17th)

Monday, August 17th, 2026: 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM

Too many companies approach AI as a feature to add rather than a problem to solve. The result is products that feel innovative on the surface but fail to meaningfully improve the customer experience. The most successful teams are taking a different approach. They begin with the customer problem, determine whether AI is the right solution, and build experiences that are both useful and reliable.

AI as a Product Feature (Aug. 17th)
The LAB Miami

We'll explore what that looks like in practice, covering:

  • How to identify customer problems that are genuinely well-suited for AI.
  • Designing AI-powered experiences that users understand and trust.
  • The engineering tradeoffs that shape product decisions.
  • How product and engineering teams work together to bring AI features from concept to production.

The discussion will feature:

  • Ben Sharpe, Apple and Microsoft alum, former CTO at CoinList, and founder of CodeBake, with more than 37 years of engineering experience spanning multiple generations of complex systems. Today, he works at the intersection of product strategy, AI, and software engineering, helping organizations identify where AI creates meaningful customer value and how to build products around it.
  • Kyle Carriedo, Managing Partner and co-founder of Misfit Labs and former Senior Engineer at Apple who went on to found and scale multiple ventures.

Who should come: Founders, product managers, CTOs, engineers, designers, and anyone building AI-powered products or deciding where AI belongs in their product roadmap.
