Introducing the Industry's First AI Network Firewall
Check Point, Thursday, July 30th, 2026
Check Point launches a firewall built to inspect prompts, model calls, and agent actions as first-class network traffic.
AI has created a new class of network traffic in which prompts, file uploads, model calls, and agent actions carry sensitive business context across the wire. Traditional firewalls were never built to understand these connections, so AI activity often looks like ordinary encrypted web traffic to them.
Check Point announced what it describes as the industry's first AI network firewall, designed to parse and apply policy to that traffic specifically.
The product can distinguish sanctioned model endpoints from shadow usage and inspect what data leaves the organization in a prompt. It is positioned for enterprises whose AI adoption has outpaced their egress controls.
